HELLO
I’m Graham!
I live in Rochester, New York with my wife Sarah, our toddler Eli, and our dogs Murphy and Winnie. We’ve been setting up (temporary) shop in the suburb of Brighton while Sarah completes a post-doctoral appointment at a University of Rochester lab focused on the neuroscience of communication, speech, and music.
In August 2020 we bought our first home and dove headfirst into DIY home renovation, with a lot of YouTube, sweat, blood, and only a very few tears along the way (ask me about the time I drilled into a water pipe). After living in a 500 square foot studio apartment (even through the beginning of the pandemic), we are enjoying the space to breathe a little more easily in our own backyard, despite the extra snow. Although, a move is likely in our sights, ideally closer to family!

My work at IDEO, a design and innovation consultancy, broadened to leading the Design Operations team and focused on improving design services, systems, tools, and processes to be more effective, thoughtfully efficient, and representative of the organization’s values and strategic priorities. Prior to my shift into Design Operations, I led the Design Research Operations group helping to shape the how and the who of the design research that inspires new products, services, and systems.
