Team Sally: Support Graham's
Half Marathon Run for Dana-Farber!
I’m running the BAA Half Marathon this October to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Center. I appreciate all that Dana-Farber does for people with cancer, their families, and the research community.
My mom, Sally, was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in October 2014 and began her treatment at Dana-Farber here in Boston soon after. She passed away in October 2015 but Dana-Farber gave her hope, comfort, and dignity when faced with the unimaginable. I miss her every day and choose to honor both her vibrant life and her difficult journey with cancer by lacing up my running shoes and hitting the 13.1 mile course this fall. Running gives me an outlet, space to be with my thoughts and memories of my mom, and a way to reframe a difficult time of year into something positive to look forward to again.
The race is on October 7th, starting and finishing in Franklin Park in Jamaica Plain, MA. Come cheer me on, donate to the cause, or just share the call to support the important work of Dana-Farber.

If you’d like - pick a reward and make a note of the suggested donation minimum. You can of course just make a donation without receiving a reward but I would be happy to at least send you a thank you note if not something special too!
